Our breeding programs are based on production. We start breeding at the end of the year that way we can start shipping chickens in the spring of the next year. This being means that the prices of chickens will drop in the spring of every year. They are highest just before fall of every year.
We breed some of the rarest chickens in the world. But breeding some of the rarest chickens in the world is not as easy as breeding normal everyday chickens. These chickens are going extinct because of there intolerance for weather changes. One of these chickens is the Olandsk Dwarf they have a little tolerance for cold and the worst part of breeding them is that a lot of the offspring will have crooked tails or splayed legs and crooked toes.
Our main focus is the birds we raise. Yes, they are the rarest in the world... But no, That is not why we raise them. Next year we will be introducing a new building to our farm, it is called the breeding barn. It is where we will be taking some of all of our breeds of chickens and having them be our main focus to repopulate. The 2014 year was very success full for the breed Olandsk Dwarf. We hatched over 100 of them. Some of them did have some genetic problems and were disposed of and the parents no longer breed. This is to ensure that any genetic deficiency's will no longer be produced out of our flock.
